Here is our application process. It is important that you understand that a ]TPG[ Regular is NOT the same as a ]TPG[ Member. They have different expectations and Members are above Regulars in ranking.
Becoming a Regular | Becoming a Member | Member Requirements
In order to become a ]TPG[ Member, there is a process that you must follow exactly as it is presented to you. The first step is applying to become a Regular. In order to become a Regular, you must have at least 10 hours Total Connection Time in any one of our servers or a combination of any of them. You can view your HLStats to see how much time you have logged. If you have at least 10 hours, you may then copy and paste the following application in our Regulars Applications forums:

If anything other than the above template is posted, your application will be put on HOLD until the correct application is used. There are NO exceptions to this rule.
Once your application has been posted, you will receive the following message from any one of the Community Members:
"Welcome to the forums and thanks for applying. Just keep an eye out here as this is where we'll be keeping in touch with you.We do have a 10 hour requirement, so just make sure you're good and active so
]TPG[ Members and Regs will be sure to see you around."
This is NOT an acceptance post! This merely means that your application has been acknowledged and you will still need to WAIT to hear from someone if you have been accepted or not. It'll take a total of two days for your application to be reviewed, but it could be longer. Everything depends on how active you are in our servers and our forums, and acceptance depends on how the Members and current Regulars view you. If none of the Members or current Regulars object to you becoming a Regular, then you will be accepted. Once you are accepted, you may ask a Member or Reg for the Vent password and join us in Ventrilo. Once accepted you may also use the ]tpg®[ tag if you want to. You may NOT wear the ]TPG[ tag.
Becoming a Regular or applying to become a Regular does NOT automatically make you a Member nor does it automatically apply you for membership. There isn't an age requirement for becoming a Regular, though your attitude and conduct with other players does matter.
Below is the application template you will need to follow in order to apply to join Total Punishment Gaming as a Member. Simply copy and paste it into a post on the forums and post it in the Membership Applications forum after you've read the rules. Everything listed below is required to be filled out in order to be considered, including the additional information questions. For the preferred games, please state which games of the four we play (Counter-Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Day of Defeat: Source, Left 4 Dead/Left 4 Dead 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2) that you would like to play. The Steam Account Name we're looking for is the name you use to log into Steam with, not the name you use in the Friends List. There is an age requirement in order to apply/join. You MUST be at least 16 or older.

Keep in mind that this is a process and it will go much faster for you the more active you are in our servers, our forums and in our Vent. There is, however, a minimum wait of one week. It'll be completely up to you, through your activity, as to if you'll be accepted after that week or if it'll take longer.
It is a requirement to be active in our servers, forums and Ventrilo. Ventrilo is the biggest requirement as communication is essential in becoming a Member. If you are not in Ventrilo, you will be denied regardless of your activity in the servers or on the forums. If you join Ventrilo and do not communicate at all, you will be denied. If you join Ventrilo to sit in a channel by yourself or only speak to the same 4 people or only to other Regs, you will be denied. We are very strict about this as we want to ensure we are accepting quality players we know we can get a long with and trust.
If you are already in a Clan, you will NOT be accepted! We do NOT allow dual Clanning! If you want to become a Member of Total Punishment Gaming, you must leave whatever Clan you're in. We only want people who are going to be 100% supportive of ]TPG[. This includes any comp teams as well. We do have our own comp teams for those interested in comp play, however, if you are part of a comp team that requires you to wear a different tag or will make you remove our tag before you can play a match, then you must drop that team before joining us.
Anyone who knows they will need to be inactive during their application process for real life obligations simply need to let any Officer know or make a post in their application letting us know that they will be away for whatever amount of time. Once the post is made, the application will be put on hold until the applicant returns and posts that they will be able to resume their activity.
